Situated in the heart of the French countryside, L`Etang Roux is owned by a dedicated angler and is set up for anglers, we aim to provide the ultimate carp fishing experience in France.
The lake is fully set up to provide holidays on a drive and survive basis. The lake is running well and will provide the opportunity to enjoy a substantial catch during your week's stay. You will enjoy a peaceful time in a tranquil setting among a host of natural wildlife.
Created over 120 years ago by the damming of an existing valley, this natural lake is situated in the heart of the French countryside in the beautiful region of France-Comte. There is a direct route from Calais by motorway. The lake is over 10 acres set in 5 acres of beautiful woodland, which gives the lake total privacy and ensures a quiet and relaxing holiday for the dedicated fisherman.
The lake was emptied, cleaned and restocked in 2006. The lake has 5 individual purpose built swims most of which can be doubles if required, these are carefully located to ensure that all who fish have the best possible experience. A maximum of 5 anglers is permitted on the lake at any time.
There is a small club house for the use of visitors, which contains a shower / toilet room, fully fitted kitchen and a changing room with freezer and charger points. On the lake bank there is a barbeque area for general use.
Supplies can be obtained from the supermarket in the neighbouring village of Chaumergy only five minutes drive away.
